Tea on Tuesday

I made it on the right day :)

I'm having a very nice tea with my muffin. This recipe is out of Canadian Living magazine, a light, not too sweet blueberry muffin with a topping of sugar and lemon zest.

***I had to come back and tell you about the napkin. I am making a card with a napkin--see the piece above it. You separate the layers, iron it onto cardstock and finish it as a card.

It is pouring rain with thunder. A good day for tea and maybe reading some of my book before dinner!

I finished my two cards :)

Thanks for the nice comments from last week. Patty, I put a cream cheese icing on the Skor bars, I think lemon zest on top would have been nice :)

Check Kimmies blog http://artinredwagons.blogspot.com/ to see who else is having tea.

Tea on Friday

Once again I have been away for too many Tuesdays! Out to the Lake with family a couple of times and of course, another trip to Chetwynd :)

Today I'm drinking Genmai-Cha--Brown Rice Green Tea, given to me by a dear friend I don't get to see near often enough! I have to say, it has a lovely, intriguing taste! Also, you are blessed with the view of my messy desk--one of my favourite places to hang out :)

The squares are called Skor Bars! So delicious....I couldn't wait for them to cool and ice, so I cut myself a couple of pieces and put icing on. All you do is mix 1, 225g box of Ritz crackers(crushed) with 1 can of condesed milk and 1 bag of Skor Chipits. Press into an 8"x8" pan and bake for 20 minutes at 350F.

I have also got into my scrap room! I love the little box on the front cover of the Stampin Up catalogue and decided to make a card fashioned after it.

This card front is done with rub-ons and I want to do one with stamps. The clock part is raised up on pop dots. I put micro beads and glitter on the brads and here and there. The embossed bird is raised on dots too. When the other one is complete, I'll post a pic of both :)
