Tea on Tuesday, among other things

This is where I'm having tea today. Sort of relaxing, fun really and if you look closer, you will see my tea on the counter.....way over there :)

This is my 'old' counter top/cupboard unit. Unforturnately the space was not wide enough to fit all three cupboards, but it does allow me sit on a stool with my knees underneath--more comfy.

Thought I'd show you a couple of views from my windows today--it is so pretty out :)

I hope all of you out there are having a great day. It is so beautiful and warm, I have windows and doors open :)
Check out http://artinredwagons.blogspot.com/ and see who else is having tea :)

Tea on Tuesday

Back home for tea :)

Today I'm really being lazy--I think travelling has caught up with me. My tea is the Cleansing lemon balm and honey with elderflowers. I love bagels, this is with laughing cow cheese spread on top.

Below is a photo that I found on a tea site quite a while back. I loved the picture but didn'
t save the name of the site or person who took it---hope they don't mind :)

I'm off to see what everyone is doing today for tea---check them out at http://artinredwagons.blogspot.com/

A Week Away

Well, it was great going to Vancouver and over to the Island. Even though the weather didn't cooperate, I still did a bunch of looking around and shopping :) and best of all, a bunch of visiting!
Looking at Vancouver from Lonsdale Quay.
A beautiful day!
The famous clock at Gastown, tourists took our picture for us--me and my daughter . Drizzling a bit, but walked around before going to The Old Spaghetti Factory for a very delicious supper.

Leaving Vancouver.

Quesnel, our little city surrounded by two big rivers. It's good to be home, but nine days wasn't long enough :)

Sunflower

I had to share this picture I took this morning. I moved into my new home last April, had a worn out gazebo torn down and wonder of wonders, someone had dropped a sunflower seed throught the old floor.

Well somehow it survived the winter and sprouted. I recognized the little plant and let it grow.
The flower is so bent over, I hope it doesn't break!
The seed head is 8 inches across. The seeds are not ripe yet.

There is a little self-made bird bath from the rain.
I'm just going to leave it to nature and see what happens!

Tea on Tuesday

Peaches and paper Flowers :)

A quiet cup of tea in the sunshine of my livingroom. This is the same tea as last week :)

I bought a box of peaches! Now I need to do something with them, but of course I'll keep a few to eat.

Peaches cut in half ready to freeze. I have never done this before, so I hope it works!

These ones are going to be canned, here they are all washed and I sit with my tea :)

Yesterday was gray and rainy, so I decided to make some paper flowers. On my side bar is a blog called Such a Pretty Mess---I love the work she does and she shows how to make these.

I used Stampin Up cardstock and sprayed them with glimmer mist. Sorry it is a bit blurry---a photographer I am not.

I have a bunch more done in other colours, but it is a bit time consuming, so maybe tomorrow :)

Join us for tea at Kimmies, check my sidebar for Artinredwagons :)
