Bookmarks

These are the bookmarks that I finished today. There were supposed to be nine--funny how 'stuff' happens! I'm happy with these :)

This is the view from my patio door today :)
It's a great time to stay indoors, however, I do have to do some shovelling!

Tea on Tuesday...oh baby, it's cold outside :)

It's an 'in' day for me, -26 out there :) however, winds are calm and the sky is blue and the sun is shining, so I'm not complaining.

My tea today, a gift from my Daughter-inLaw, is from a new little tea shop we have in town.Wonder of wonders, I haven't been there yet, but it is on my to-do list :)

This sample is called Mistletoe. Amongst the flavours, I can pick out apple and hint of cinnamon--lovely and cozy.

So, while I'm having my tea, I'm creating :)

I'm making 9 bookmarks. The words will be added later with rub-ons, when they are all done.
As you can see, I'm also making a mess in the kitchen :)
I am blessed with the views from my windows and the other night it was the huge full moon.

After I took the picture and put it on the computer, I saw that I must have moved when I clicked. However, it looks like the branches have a hold on the moon and are trying to stretch it!

Whilst having my moring coffee...

And that's the important cup---the first one! Anyway it is about 8 am.

Here is My morning VIEW. I'm not a talk show host, it is just the beauty of nature :)

Here Comes The Sun....in the window, lighting my day :)

And speaking of light, yesterday I finished a light block--another project done! Well, almost, I just have to get another light strand to stuff inside the block. The one I had, got hot in one hour!
This block has a napkin, a clear sheet of adhesive, sprinked with fine glitter ritz and the flowers and leaves were touched up with a Stampin Up marker--just to bring out some of the colour.
I added a rub-on of holly down the side and the words, Winter Greetings. Then I wrapped a beautiful green satin ribbon around it and added the gorgeous gold ribbon for a topper.
