Tea on Tuesday

I made it on the right day :)

I'm having a very nice tea with my muffin. This recipe is out of Canadian Living magazine, a light, not too sweet blueberry muffin with a topping of sugar and lemon zest.

***I had to come back and tell you about the napkin. I am making a card with a napkin--see the piece above it. You separate the layers, iron it onto cardstock and finish it as a card.

It is pouring rain with thunder. A good day for tea and maybe reading some of my book before dinner!

I finished my two cards :)

Thanks for the nice comments from last week. Patty, I put a cream cheese icing on the Skor bars, I think lemon zest on top would have been nice :)

Check Kimmies blog http://artinredwagons.blogspot.com/ to see who else is having tea.

  1. Now I'm not sure which card I like better. They are both gorgeous. And it was so great that you actually made it back to join us for the second time this week.

Isn't it fun to use napkins in your art? I have always been drawn to their transparency.

Now I'm hungry again! That muffin looks adorable, the cream cheese frosting sounds perfect on the Skor bars (cream cheese is my fav, anyway), and some tea to cleanse all those calories out of my system (grin).

  7. Oh YUM on your choice of frosting, thank you Nancy :)

We could use some rain here in Virginia ... it does make it cozy to be tucked inside ... tea ... yummy treats and creating ... doesn't get much better than that!
I Love gluing peeled napkins onto book pages and other paper ... it just melts in ... very pretty napkins you've got there and yours cards too.
