It's actually Tuesday Coffee for me this morning :) need that zap to get me going!
I've just finished reading this book written by my friend Susan. It's about a woman who walked from New York to Siberia, travelling through Canada on up to Alaska....all on foot to reach her home. I loved the book and it ended all too soon!

Some of the baking I've done the past few days. Things are all packaged up.....and yes I sampled a couple :) My shortbread, almond florentines and raison ginger cookies.
I'm making another batch of shortbread and that will be enough :)
Thanks for stopping by and please check out Kimmies site at http://artinredwagons.blogspot.com/ to see what everyone's up to today :)
Oh Nancy! I can almost taste those cookies. And I can only imagine what the shortbread will taste like, because I love it all. It all looks so inviting and delicious, too. I always love thumbprint cookies. Have an awesome tea today!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog today and leaving such a kind comment! Your cookies look delicious -- I'd love the recipe for the raisin ginger ones!
ReplyDeleteI tried to make shortbread tonight to take to a friend I am seeing for lunch tomorrow but I left it in the oven too long. So it is toasted shortbread. :/ Not quite as tasty. All your baking looks wonderful. And the book certainly sounds interesting. Have a great rest of the week. Tammy
ReplyDeleteYou look like a bakery! Isn't is fun?! The tasting part I mean ;)
