Even in the heat, I'm making a hot, mint tea (in the Keurig), and taking it out to sip in the shade, by my flower garden.
Said the spider to the....bee? Darn, I was too late to save him! Never seen this before!
Then we had 17 ducks land on the road in the trailer park--silly things :) I don't live too far from a lake and a pond--they fly back and forth.
My herb pot growing quite nicely--I cant wait for the tomatoes.
And another pot for table on the bottom deck.
Some wild flowers, we call them Indian Moccasin. We have a shorter version called Lady Slippers that are a pretty purple colour.
That's it for me today, join us for a beverage :) we start at Elizabeth's:
First, happy Canada Day. I wish I had one of your flags, so I could fly it to honor YOUR day. Love the pots of herbs, flowers, and tomatoes. I'm also loving your Keurig. My friend Sally has one and she uses it all the time. Me? I make a big pot of coffee, and drink it before Sally can get her one cup down (grin).
ReplyDeleteOh, those ducks are SO cute. Thanks for sharing them and your tea today.
Hi Elizabeth :) thanks for the thoughts and if you send me your address :) I'll send you a flag---for next year.

Thanks Patty :) I felt so sorry for the bee--I have no idea what kind of spider tackles a bee! Must look that up!
DeleteHappy Canada Day! And T Tuesday :) I love your plantings. They look inspiring, they're doing so well. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for popping by :) using some of the herbs, really nice to have on hand.
DeleteMint tea does sound very refreshing, even hot : ). Holy cow that's a spider! I've never seen one like it before.
ReplyDeleteThis mint tea is so very nice--never know when you get it :) I've had a few different mints---should really grow my own :)
DeleteI found the post you wrote back in 2009 showing your tea ball. If MY tea ball had been jasmine, I might have enjoyed it. I'm not sure what mine was since I'd never heard of the tea (brand and type) before. But truthfully, mine tasted like dust. I just couldn't get the taste of dust out of my mouth with each sip. But jasmine is a tea leaf I LOVE. And yours looks SO much different than mine, since mine didn't open into a basket. But I'm really glad you shared the info with us and I'm glad I stopped by and saw yours.
ReplyDeleteI wasn't around last week so I thought I would visit now! I live near a lake also and once had a pair of ducks walking through our back yard. I like your tea mug and all the lovely flowers you are growing.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting me this weekend. So sweet of you. I JUST NOW saw the reply that you would send me a flag. I'd LOVE a Canadian flag.
ReplyDeleteI've missed you for T. Hope to see you again really soon.
