Well, I made it for Tea on Tuesday :) it has been a while! I think my pictures are reflecting the beautiful blue skies. I'm in a lovely shady spot on my little deck, enjoying a mild breeze.
I'm having Arizona Green Tea with ginseng and honey, so soothing. I love the apple, raison, cinnamon pitas. I just toast slightly and add butter. Some cherries from the tree--just some I could reach, riper ones were too high :)
Some company to help with the cherries!
Contemplating what to do with the rocks that I picked up by Moberly Lake, just a few miles from Chetwynd.
Not sure if I want to paint on them or wrap some wire around them and hang from a piece of driftwood. Maybe a bit of both.
A lovely piece of bark found at the same Lake. Such pretty waves on this side, reminded of a horses mane.
This side looked as though it should have goats climbing on it. I'm not sure if I could paint that, but maybe I'll have to give it a try. The whole piece is about 5 inches by 8 inches.
I will post a picture in the near future so you can see what I decided to do :)
I brought my journal outside with me too. I'm trying, once again, to keep it going. This one I started when I moved into my new home :)

Hi Nancy!! we are probably having the same weather - can you believe it??? it's been great weather for weeds and slugs and snails .... but today sure does make up for it! you collection of rocks and driftwood is beautiful - some of the very best souvenirs of life's jaunts and journeys :)
ReplyDeleteHugs and Happy T today!!! Kimmie
Your pitas and cherries look so yummy! I love the rocks... They are so pretty I have a hard time covering them with paint. The driftwood is such a nice piece too... Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog for Tea on Tuesdays. I am really enjoying meeting everyone. Love your treasures you found. I was at Cape Cod a few years ago and found some pretty rocks on the beach, most were grey. Found a white one so had it wrapped in wire and made into a pendant. Everyone loves it and so do I.
ReplyDeleteSo nice to see you Nancy! Your tea looks lovely and your rocks and driftwood sure are special too!
ReplyDeleteAND those precious pups!
Happy Summer Tea to you!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful stones and driftwood. I'm joining in the Tea of Tuesday's. I've been sipping all by myself and Yvonne told me about all of you enjoying your tea, too. Much more fun. :)Bea
ReplyDeletehappy t tueday! love all your rocks and bits!
ReplyDeleteSomehow I managed to miss your first tea post. It took me a week to find you. I'm a bit dense. More like the rocks than the driftwood, if you will. Hope you had a great Tea Tuesday.
