The New Year has begun....

....but I'm still relaxing and bringing it in slowly  :)  Christmas was wonderful and the decorations are still up.  The families have all gone home, as of today.   So, I'm going to use this week to get back to normal and start wearing off some of the goodies!

I have picked a word for this year.  Something that rates right up there with resolutions with me--not something I normally do, although I admire people who do.
A word suits me better maybe.  My word is ACCOMPLISH, a very positive word--almost gives one the feeling they've already done something, lol.  I'll let you know how it works for me as time passes.

Anyway, this was the beautiful sunrise this morning as it wrapped itself almost all the way around me  :)



Kim asked to see my magazine card holder when it had cards, so here it is.  I decided to put the cards in it, all facing the same way.  It wasn't the easiest thing to keep tidy because people had to take them out to look at them  :)  but everyone loved it.
 

I hope Christmas was everything you hoped it would be and you're ready for a wonderful New Year!

    Very good word...accomplish. Mine is ORDER and I am working on that now changing out my studio to another room. Yay. happy new year to you.

    I am envying your sunrise .... That is truly beautiful!
    I still haven't thought of my word for the year.

    We had a sunrise like that as well.

    Brilliant word of the year you chosen...I am not a resolution kinda gal either..."balance" is my word for 2012

    such a fun card holder you created...I am hoping for a more normal Christmas this year full of balance :)

    Hi Nancy, thanks for dropping by...happy New Year. Love your 'word', good luck with it, I never do that ( pick a word for the year ) because I feel I would be under pressure but I really like the idea of having something to aim for in the back of your mind. I think your magazine card holder is gorgeous, I have never seen that before, but what a great idea. Would love you to have a go in the Color Room, it's a wonderful challenge. xx
