Canvas in Progress

Well, here is the canvas as it is right now :) it's been sitting on my kitchen counter for a couple of weeks now...in the center of a mess of paints, etc! Check back a couple of posts to see how it started. Almost every day, sometimes a few times a day, I add something or take it away. I covered up the flowers a little more today then wiped them off...I really like the flowers, why cover them...

In this second photo you can see that some places that look dark on the first photo, are actually painted with metallic paint so it really isn't as dark as it appears.

And here is a close up of the chain I put around the tower to bring it some more dimension. It looks a bit silver here, but really, it isn't.

So it goes :) every day it changes a bit. One day it will hang on my bedroom wall!

Thanks for stopping by, hope your weekend is going well :)

  4. I know it is difficult to get pictures with my camera, too, of the true colors, or metallics that shimmer. I always think they look better in person, but it gives a good idea in the picture. I think it looks great!! :):)

  5. This is soooooo amazing, Nancy, and it's so great to see how you are progressing with it! I have never tried a project like this, have you? I love it, if you ever want to sell it, you know who to approach first, heehee! Hugs, Roxy.
